This group project, conducted during a remote Engineering course in my last year at Brown, had two subgroups that explored differed temporary solutions for people experiencing homelessness. The following presentations outline our progress and what we created in a semester's time. I was a part of the subgroup focused on convertible clothing.
One element of the project that I was particularly focused on was the prototyping phase. Here, I used scrap fabrics to demonstrate the shape of the jacket, as well as how scraps/unused clothes could be used by anyone to make the jacket themselves.
